Florida law requires Registered, Licensed and State Certified Appraisers, licensed prior to November 30, 2007, to complete 30 hours of state approved continuing education before November 30, 2008. Updated 2008-2009 version!
This course provides an equivalent to the 7-Hour National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Update Course of The Appraisal Foundation. It focuses on the recent changes in USPAP over the last few years, and specifically addresses all the new changes in the current edition of USPAP. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice sets standards for both ethical behavior and competent performance for appraisers.
Approved by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of The Appraisal Foundation as course 0007332.
This course presumes that participants have already completed the 15-hour USPAP course, and are familiar with its basic tenets. However, USPAP is a living document and does change frequently to accommodate the changes in society and business. Participants are required to have a copy of the current edition of USPAP with them in the classroom; it is referred to throughout the course. We provide this resource
